~ fields and fields of migratory birds. Geese, ducks, cranes, raptors, songbirds. Skies that where practically empty all winter are suddenly full of birds on the move.
~ the sandhill cranes dancing in their spring friskiness
~ helping small children and unknowledgable adults peer through spotting scopes, bring the birds into close view. A small boy giggling in glee at the bright orange feet and the fluffy butt of a greater white fronted goose.
~ racing down the hill on my bike in the bright sunshine. Feeling like I could sprout wings and fly at any moment.
~ sleeping late and consuming a breakfast of chocolate chip cranberry bread made into french toast with fresh strawberries.

~ yoga in the eternal evening light, we have offically lost any semblance of dark night, even in the middle of the night the sky still glows with light.
